Today I take a look at the much-requested PSS-A50, and although I expected to like it and thought it would be a good value, it really... isn't. Although it has no major inherent flaws, and I'm not going to say "don't buy it", it's not my favorite Yamaha keyboard. It's features like motion effects, arpeggio, and phrase recording are all sub-par, and most are not very musically usable or enjoyable. The nearly $50 price difference between this and the PSS-F30 should indicate a jump in quality, but in reality I like the F30 much more, and would actually recommend it to someone looking for a truly entry-level keyboard.

This uses the same action as Yamaha's Reface series. I had heard good things about the action, but really wasn't impressed with the execution of touch control... we'll see how much I like the Reface CP.
