1st published 1950 by Al Leech as HOT CARD TRiCK NR.1 this wonderful feed of card magic became popular as the CHiCAGO OPENER when published by Frank Garcia in Million Dollar Card Secrets 1972. It's also referred to as REd HOT MAMA due to the Michael Ammar's publication in Easy to Master Card Miracles Vol. 1, 1994. This amazing trick also makes the round as THE WORLDS BEST CARD TRiCK. Synopsis: A freely selected card changes color (e.g. from blue to red) and is set aside. A second card is selected and the red-backed card is seen to have transformed into the second selection.
