Motorcycling in America is aging fast — the median rider is now around 50 years old, and nearly 40% are between 51 and 69. As riders get older, thoughts of hanging up the helmet become more common, and with fewer young riders joining the sport, the number of bikes on the road continues to drop. In this week’s MCrider episode, I share my personal story — from commuting 50 miles a day on two wheels to facing knee issues at my last track day — and discuss the biggest reasons riders stop riding.
