Is this the best burger in the Bay? Popular Oakland burger joint Lovely’s started as a pop-up before graduating to a repurposed shipping container in downtown Oakland, Owner Mikey Yoon’s flavorful burgers are an ode to the East Coast and Midwest diners of his youth. His signature classic and accessible burgers are a reminder of home and have become a beloved addition to its Oakland community. Mikey says he’s not out to “wow” anyone, but after trying their classic Drive-Thru burger, Chili-Willy burger, Fishwich, corn fritters, and soft serve, we can’t say we weren’t impressed.
