I just finished rebuilding this 4.2 liter Chevy trailblazer engine. I use a DNJ rebuild kit which looked pretty good overall except for one of wrist pins fit in the piston slightly looser than all the others.
now I have everything all together and back running again except I have a noise which I think might be piston slap, I'm not 100% sure.
Crankshaft is Brand new, all the connecting rod bearings and all the crankshaft bearings are new, new dnj Pistons and wrist pins as well.
I'm not sure what this noise is.
