Is this a Coincidence or Reference?
Starting off we have SpongeBob Chocolate Rain: When SpongeBob Spills Hot Chocolate on Squidward was it a coincidence he called it Chocolate Rain or is he referencing Tay Zonday’s Classic Song:
In Season 7 Episode 22 of My little Pony: There is a Pony with Glasses and a Stripped Rugby Sweater, and Two Older Parents. Some Fans Debate if this is a reference to Chris Chan or if this is just a Coincidence.
In the Anime Zettai Karen Children Episode 5 There is a Pair of By Standers who look eerily similar to the Nostalgia Critic and the Angry Video Game Nerd, the Studio never confirmed if this was a reference or just a coincidence:
This Sonic Adventure Promotional Poster looks a lot like a Movie Poster from the 1994 movie Speed starring Keanu Reeves, who coincidentally ended up being Shadow the Hedgehog. Was this poster design on purpose or just a coincidence.
And lastly we have Sid’s Carpet in Toy Story, is it a coincidence that his Carpet Pattern is nearly identical to the Carpet in the Overlook Hotel in the Shining Movie by Stephen King.
