Cloud Imperium games have announced a delay to anticipated features in Star Citizen's upcoming Alpha 3.23 patch. Persistent hangars will join Cargo missions and Freight Elevators/Item Banks in a future point patch.

But does CIG bear some of the responsibility for the disappointment in delays to their much-anticipated Space MMO, even if you account for how ambitious a project it is, and the uncertain nature of iterative development?
