Mike Bartlett's play "King Charles III" imagined what the future of the British monarchy would look like, after the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Today, one year exactly after the Queen's passing, Zach Barr (they/them) returns to the play, to judge how its message and motives have evolved, as the public view of the royals changes. Does it have a future? And does the real life King at its center?
