We review the 2017 VW Golf GTI MK 7.5 – is it still as special as it's original predecessor was? The GTI joins us for some twisty driving and real-world testing on a road trip down to Littlehampton to drop off our own, older Renault Clio 172 Cup hot hatch. The Mk7.5 GTI has 230hp but, in a world where hot hatches now line-up with 300hp+, is it enough? Is this still a mad fun car to drive? Is it still a hot hatch? Or is it simply luke warm? We hit the road to find out.
