In this video, I am using a Nik Huber Orca going into the Astro 20, with a Universal Audio Del Verb doing the reverb and delays.

The Soldano Astro 20 3-Channel All Tube Head with MIDI and IR combines the best of both worlds with digital IR technology with that sweet tube tone thanks to four 12AX7 preamp tubes and two 6V6 power amp tubes. Featuring three channels, you can choose from a clean, ambient soundscapes, and two gain channels, both with independent gain and volume controls. The Soldano Astro 20 gives you the ability to produce crunchy gain tone, as well as a hi-gain perfect for heavier playing, you will receive the full Soldano experience with this amp combo. At the beating heart of this combo is a 1x12 Celestion G12M Greenback speaker, giving you plenty of power to produce incredible tones.

IR Simulator Technology
Loaded with Soldano’s own IR’s, you can plug the Astro 20 into your computer using the USB-C connection where you can select from Soldano’s presets, or you can add your own. If you didn’t want to use a cab, you can plug the Astro 20 combo into the dedicated IR out to use you monitor set up when at home or in the studio: really showcasing the versatility and balance between technology and valves.

Control Everything from Your Feet
The footswitch allows you to switch between all three channels, with the green light indicating the clean channel, and the blue, purple, and red lights indicate the individual gain channels and settings that you have dialled in.

The Studio Rats are core band members Paul Drew on guitar/production/mixing, drummer James Ivey. They collaborate with singers and musicians to produce radio-ready songs.
