There’s a lot of great Ford Mustangs out there, and with everyone’s tastes and preferences different, your answer as to what is “peak” Mustang can vary. But for me, the Selby GT350R (& GT350) are just about as good as it gets. The fun factor for the dollar makes it hard to beat. The 5.2L Voodoo flat plane crank V8 to this day remains to be the most powerful naturally aspirated engine Ford has ever put into a street legal car. Crazy considering it’s over a decade old. It’s 8,250 RPM redline, intoxicating exhaust note, 6-speed manual, magnetic ride control, etc. make this drive like nothing else. I’ve loved my 2017 GT350 so much since buying it new, I had to buy a 2020 GT350R in addition. Thanks for watching!
