The New Covenant is indeed founded on God’s unconditional gift of grace, but Scripture clearly shows it still includes expectations—obedience, commitment, and a heartfelt response empowered by the Holy Spirit. While Israel failed under the first covenant due to a lack of a changed heart, Christians are given the Spirit so they can truly love, obey, and walk with God as His sons and daughters.
