Could the NES be more powerful than the GBC? Well no to be honest, but it's closer than it should be. I take a look at both these systems strengths and weaknesses. Nintendo had Mario, Zelda and most of all Pokemon which made the GBC the most popular hand held of its generation by a long way. It was hardly a powerhouse though and the NES was surprisingly closely matched in many ways.
