Elgato has made a name for themselves in the world of streaming. As if the stream deck wasn't impactful enough, they released the Wave series of microphones which by themselves are pretty good, but when you factor in the Wave Link software...they are GREAT. If you stream to Twitch, Youtube, or any other site, and want submixes (the ability to control volume of what the stream hears vs what you hear independently), this is the microphone to get. The total package featureset can arguably put this down as one of the best mics to get for streaming imo. So in this video, we have a microphone test of the elgato wave 3, a demonstration of the Wave Link software recorded via OBS Studio, and my overall thoughts.
