Crash Bandicoot's journey has been... wild. He started off strong and consitent with three brilliant platformers and an excellent kart racer, followed by what can only be described as anarchy. There were some gems, there were some flops, and there were some outright crimes against humanity. But after a long hiatus, Crash returned to his glory days with the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. The question is, are the remakes better than the originals? That's what I'm here to ramble about. I hope you enjoy! :]

Crash of the Titans was a pretty wild departure from what the Crash Bandicoot series had been doing up until that point, and considering the series had already ventured into kart racers and party games, thats saying something. Titans was followed up by a sequel called Crash: Mind over Mutant. The only question on EVERYONES mind is this: is Crash: Mind over Mutant better than Crash of the Titans? It has been a long time since I last played Crash of the Titans, and I remember liking it... but it was very different from what the Crash Bandicoot series had been doing up until this point. Despite that though, I remember enjoying the game... but the thing is, people change. Im not a dumb kid anymore. Would I still enjoy this game now as an arguably functional adult? As much as I love platformers, sometimes I get the feeling that they really are all the same. Not in terms of gameplay, but in terms of how theyre presented. Theyre often very family-friendly, very cute and bubbly, and very simple. Theres nothing wrong with that, but when every platformer does it, you start to yearn for something... different. And thats where Conkers Bad Fur Day comes in. This is a game with a reputation for being more, shall we say, mature than its platformer cousins. Ive never played it before, so this is my first time seeing whats on offer in the game... and bloody hell this game is something else.
