I'm always weary when a mega-franchise announces a new project. These days they're starting to feel like desperate $$ grabs. And I'm even less interested in prequels and alternate POVs. And Songbirds and Snakes stinks of both. Because of the movie adaptation, I decided to read it and see what all the fuss was about. Hopefully, the odds are in my favor and it's a good read!
