Santa Claus is coming to town, or in this case, metal. Watch how Able Machine Tool Sales of Agawam, Mass., used Mate Workholding to create this Santa Claus out of aluminum.
Ruvim Mosijchuk, Able’s Application Engineer, says that Mate Workholding “did a phenomenal job on this project. It worked in perfect harmony with the rest of the setup, providing a nice stable cut, even when taking a 1.9" (48.26mm) axial depth of cut and .1875" (4.76mm) radial cut with a 3/4" (19.05mm) end mill. It was very satisfying to see all of that material efficiently removed. I really enjoyed using it!”
