Mixo is a cloud DJ library that lets you prep your music once and export it straight to USB in Rekordbox format - so you can play on pretty much any Pioneer or AlphaTheta standalone gear without ever opening Rekordbox. And it doesn't stop there: the same library exports to Engine DJ for Denon, Numark and Rane, and back into Serato, Traktor, Virtual DJ and more.

In this video I explain what Mixo actually is, why the USB export is worth your attention, and who it's really for. Our students have been telling us it works well, so I wanted to put it on your radar - though I haven't fully tested it myself yet, so treat this as a heads-up rather than a review.

Mixo runs on Windows, Mac and Linux, with mobile apps for iOS and Android, and syncs through your own Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive. It's $7 a month with a one-week free trial.
