Question: is life fair?
It’s a question that I feel has always been asked since the dawn of humankind because no matter who you are, where you’re from, or what you do, something bad will inevitably happen that will make you ask this question to yourself. And even if you’re one of the absolute lucky ones, where everything good has somehow happened, chances are you’ll have heard or have been exposed to something bad happening to someone else that will make you feel a bit confused internally, enough to ask if life is fair for everyone around you. Unless you’re good at ignoring the bad around you and just don’t let it bring you down or if you have little to no sympathy for anyone else but yourself.
Whatever the case, the question still stands; truthfully, I’m unsure if there is a definitive answer. This video explores that question more deeply.

What is Red Dead Redemption 2?
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a 2018 action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games. The game is the third entry in the Red Dead series and a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption. The story is set in a fictionalized representation of the United States in 1899 and follows the exploits of Arthur Morgan, an outlaw and member of the Van der Linde gang, who must deal with the decline of the Wild West while attempting to survive against government forces, rival gangs, and other adversaries. The game is presented through first- and third-person perspectives, and the player may freely roam its interactive open world. Gameplay elements include shootouts, robberies, hunting, horseback riding, interacting with non-player characters, and maintaining the character's honor rating through moral choices and deeds. A bounty system governs the response of law enforcement and bounty hunters to crimes committed by the player.
The game's development lasted over eight years, beginning soon after Red Dead Redemption's release, and it became one of the most expensive video games ever made. Rockstar co-opted all of its studios into one large team to facilitate development. They drew influence from real locations as opposed to film or art, focused on creating an accurate reflection of the time with the game's characters and world. The game was Rockstar's first built specifically for eighth-generation consoles, having tested their technical capabilities while porting Grand Theft Auto V. The game's soundtrack features an original score composed by Woody Jackson and several vocal tracks produced by Daniel Lanois. Development included a crunch schedule of 100-hour weeks, leading to reports of mandatory and unpaid overtime. Red Dead Online, the game's online multiplayer mode, lets up to 32 players engage in a variety of cooperative and competitive game modes.
Red Dead Redemption 2 was released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in October 2018, and for Windows and Stadia in November 2019. It broke several records and had the second-biggest launch in the history of entertainment, generating US$725 million in sales from its opening weekend and exceeding the lifetime sales of Red Dead Redemption in two weeks. The game received critical acclaim, with praise directed at its story, characters, open world, graphics, music, and level of detail, but some criticism at its control scheme and emphasis on realism over player freedom. It won more than 175 Game of the Year awards and received multiple other accolades from awards shows and gaming publications. It is considered one of eighth-generation console gaming's most significant titles and among the greatest video games ever made. It is among the best-selling video games with over 67 million copies shipped.

![The Greatest Documentaries of All Time (Vol. 4)
This is part four of what I consider as a list of the greatest documentaries of all time. Each documentary is a film that Im recommending because, for some reason, the documentary format feels like the black sheep of the film world with many more watching fictional films than films that are actually about something in real-life.
Why is this? Are they not as entertaining? Do we prefer escaping into another world?
Hopefully, the films on this list prove that this doesnt have to be the case and that importantly, show how documentaries can actually be just as entertaining if not more. Because as the old adage goes, sometimes the truth can be stranger than fiction.
This is my video explaining why.

What is a documentary?
A documentary film is a non-fictional motion-picture intended to document reality, primarily for the purposes of instruction, education, or maintaining a historical record - compare documentary theatre. Bill Nichols has characterised the documentary in terms of a filmmaking practice, a cinematic tradition, and mode of audience reception [that remains] a practice without clear boundaries. Documentary films, originally called actuality films, lasted one minute, or less. Over time, documentaries have evolved to become longer in length, and to include more categories; some examples being: educational, observational, and docufiction.
Documentaries are meant to be informative works, and are often used within schools, as a resource to teach various principles. Social-media platforms (such as YouTube) have provided an avenue for the growth of the documentary-film genre. These platforms have increased the distribution area and ease-of-accessibility; thereby enhancing the ability to educate a larger volume of viewers, and broadening the reach of persons who receive that information.
Polish writer and filmmaker Bolesław Matuszewski was among those who identified the mode of documentary film. He wrote two of the earliest texts on cinema Une nouvelle source de lhistoire (eng. A New Source of History) and La photographie animée (eng. Animated photography). Both were published in 1898 in French and among the early written works to consider the historical and documentary value of the film.[3] Matuszewski is also among the first filmmakers to propose the creation of a Film Archive to collect and keep safe visual materials.
In popular myth, the word documentary was coined by Scottish documentary filmmaker John Grierson in his review of Robert Flahertys film Moana (1926), published in the New York Sun on 8 February 1926, written by The Moviegoer (a pen name for Grierson).
Griersons principles of documentary were that cinemas potential for observing life could be exploited in a new art form; that the original actor and original scene are better guides than their fiction counterparts to interpreting the modern world; and that materials thus taken from the raw can be more real than the acted article. In this regard, Griersons definition of documentary as creative treatment of actuality[6] has gained some acceptance, with this position at variance with Soviet film-maker Dziga Vertovs provocation to present life as it is (that is, life filmed surreptitiously) and life caught unawares (life provoked or surprised by the camera).
