I have seen a lot about zero waste since I started to make videos about sustainability, so I wanted to give my thoughts on the topic. I don't want to discourage anyone from trying a zero waste lifestyle, but I also don't want to scare people away from making sustainable lifestyle changes. That jar is very intimidating for many people that are just starting out, like myself, and I think the movement shouldn't hold it up so often.
I encourage anyone that is wanting to make changes in their life to help protect the environment and if zero waste is something you can do in your area, I encourage you to try, but I also think simple steps can make a big difference.
