We compare it with PLA, PLA Pro, HT-PLA, HT-PLA-GF, PETG, ABS, PC, and Nylon 12 to find out what happens when repeated impacts, heat, and demanding print conditions collide.
The results? HT-PLA Pro delivers an exceptional balance of impact resistance, layer adhesion, heat stability, and easy PLA printing. In our hot impact test, it survived 864 impacts outperforming every other PLA-based material tested and even exceeding PC.
HT-PLA Pro is not intended to replace every engineering filament. But if you need a tough, heat-resistant, moisture-insensitive 3D printing filament that prints beautifully on virtually any printer, this may be the most well-rounded PLA we’ve ever produced.
