Hop on from Shinjuku — the seats swivel towards the windows for amazing mountain views.
2️⃣ Visit the Hakone Open-Air Museum 🎨
Home to giant outdoor sculptures, the Picasso Pavilion, and a stained-glass tower that’ll leave you in awe.
3️⃣ Try pottery or glassblowing at Gora Park 🏞️
Beside its dreamy fountain plaza sits the Hakone Crafthouse, where you can craft your own keepsake.
4️⃣ Stay at a Ryokan 🧖🏻♀️
Think private onsens, spa lounges, free snacks, and buffet spreads — we stayed at Yutowa Ryokan and it was a dream.
5️⃣ Take the Ropeway to Owakudani 🥚
See volcanic steam vents and try black eggs (kuro-tamago) said to add seven years to your life.
6️⃣ Cruise across Lake Ashinoko 🏴☠️
Hop on the pirate ship for sweeping forest views and glimpses of Mt. Fuji.
