Scripture says NO. Calvinism says yes, but sometimes they say no.
Calvin says yes, emphatically. Luther says yes. John MacArthur says yes, and no. John Piper says no, and yes.
James White emphatically says yes, except when he says no.
Nicholas Whitmire says yes and no. CJ says yes and no.
Chris Date says YES and SO WHAT!!??
I will try to examine all these claims, but first we'll see from scripture that God is EMPHATICALLY not the author of evil.
This will not be the definitive exposition of this topic. I am only beginning. I won't answer all questions here, but I hope you will leave satisfied that scripture emphatically denies that God is the author of evil.
