At the recent D23 Expo in Anaheim, Lucasfilm CEO Kathleen Kennedy announced a number of Star Wars series set to be released on the upcoming streaming service, Disney+. However, we've heard of all these series before, but in film format, back before the failure of SOLO: A Star Wars Story forced Disney and Lucasfilm to re-think their film release strategy for Star Wars. Is Lucasfilm just repurposing their old films for the Disney+ TV show slate?
