I've been doing collages and edits since I discovered Photoshop way back in the day.
In recent years I've been reworking classical paintings in the public domain into dark and contemporary pieces. I feel that I can inject these masterful classics with new emotions that resonate in our day and age.
In the past some people has been a bit disappointed by the process. Interestingly enough, in this age of AI, confrontations about my art happens a lot less.
Before, "real" art was only created through traditional methods and mediums, and Photoshop was a bit frowned upon. Now "real" seems to be whatever a human has done without using prompts.
Sorry for my little rant and my raspy voice. I recorded this with a crappy mic late in the night.
