Re-edited after its Cannes debut, this new cut aimed to deliver a stronger, more cohesive vision. But did it work? For me, Die My Love is a film filled with flashes of greatness — haunting cinematography, daring performances, and moments of raw honesty — yet weighed down by uneven pacing, heavy-handed symbolism, and narrative gaps that hold it back from true brilliance.
