It seems every year we get a headline or two about China banning Christmas! Glimmering lights, gingerbread cookies, hot chocolate, family gatherings and presents under trees. All these traditional holiday activities are banned and foreigners from Shenzhen to Beijing are left crying in their eggnog alone with their Christmas lights off. Or so these articles would have you believe. But, is that really true?
