The UK government announced a ban on social media for under 16s. Then Sir Keir Starmer resigned. Which raises the obvious question — who's actually enforcing this?
And more importantly: is a blanket ban even the right approach? Because while Westminster was busy making headlines, Apple quietly shipped the most detailed parental controls any platform has ever built — designed with actual paediatricians, and already in beta.
