Is this the end of living like a local, flexible travel, and exploring places in a way you can't with hotels?
For years, Airbnb was my first choice whenever I needed somewhere to stay. Lately though, I've found myself wondering whether something has changed.
After sharing one disappointing Airbnb experience in a recent vlog, many of you said you'd already stopped using Airbnb altogether. At the time, I wasn't convinced. But after several more recent stays, I'm beginning to wonder if you were right.
This isn't a rant or a review of one bad stay. It's an honest discussion about whether Airbnb is still fit for purpose, especially for those of us who stay longer, need somewhere that's genuinely liveable, and use short-term accommodation for more than just a holiday.
