I have had a mini-split air conditioner, heat pump in my shop for the last 4 years. Here are my thoughts, how it works, what I would do different if I was to buy a new one.
I did not mention in the video how much it costs to run this mini-split. I never really had a baseline of what the shop cost to run before installing the unit but I can tell you with heavy winter usage of shop tools and the mini split heating to 64 degrees F when the outside air is about 25 degrees F it cost about $75 per month to run the shop.
