In recent years I have seen so many people rave on about how nice the 40mm focal length is, I bought into the hype and thought it would be a good alternative to using either a 35mm or a 50mm lens. After using the lens a few times I was unimpressed and it sat on a shelf for a few months. However, I thought I would give it another go, so for 2 months I shot with nothing but the Nikon Z 40mm f2 SE lens.
