Mecha? Action? Romance? YES! Top #10 Aragami IC 2020. Read description & let me tell you everything.
This was probably the only IC during which I believed in myself. Did it work to my advantage? When I heard this song I imagined an overly ambitious project that I somehow managed to finish in just 4 days.
I tried to focus on the happy moments instead of sad. A while ago I wrote "I wish I could make an AMV without having to cry" so I remembered happy moments while editing, realizing something really important... There are actually SO MANY happy moments and so little sad ones. So why do I always focus on sorrow? Thinking of the people I love smiling turned out to be a great driving force after all.
I gotta admit that I did end up crying during editing but that's because this song and especially this anime touched my heart in a unique way. I really appreciate the character of Zero Two, and her monster side is in a way familiar to me. Following the way her and Hiro's relationship develops was my main goal with this AMV. From her obsessing over him, through good & bad times, to his determined comeback and their unified victory. ๐
For me this anime is a masterpiece even with its questionable progress in the last few episodes. I gotta mention that the side story of Kokoro and Mitsuru got me more than any other side story before, but there isn't enough material to make a video about them. ๐
