Irregular hunter X (PSP) animated opening sequence (japanese version when beginning the game as Vile). In the year 21XX, humans and reploids are finally beginning to work together, but all of a sudden some of them go berserk: they're labelled as Mavericks. Among all, including Sigma, the maverick hunter X is seen as the key to evolution, the one who is destined to make the reploid race evolve. Obsessed by the fact that everyone sees X as a superior being, Vile decides to engage battle against everyone to prove his supremacy and to beat X in a 1 on 1 duel (JAPANESE cutscene).
