4 years ago, I spent 10 months 3D modeling Pioneer Village at Lagoon Amusement Park in Utah. For the purpose of designing a wood coaster to fit in around it. That coaster was the Wild Legend, designed by me to a GCI type design. I designed it for a competition and though I didn't win, it taught me a lot about 3D modeling in how to make models less taxing on system resources while keeping the same level of detail and as each coaster design does, my NL2 skills got better too.
So when NL2 released the RMC Hybrid Update earlier this year, I knew my GCI design was a perfect candidate to use it on. It had lots of great already to go theming and would be like real life, in that an existing wood coaster would be converted over, instead of just making a brand new design.

This is a NL2 recreation of Lagoons Roller Coaster. I started it in 2018 with the intention of using it to show what GCI Trains would look like on the coaster. I didnt get it finished before Lagoon did just that, replace its PTC trains with Millennium Flyers from GCI. So this got put on the back burner. A few months ago, I decided to revive this project and finish it.
I left the old station and PTC trains as I had done many hours of 3D modeling on the station and didnt want to waste all that work. Maybe someday Ill go back and model the new station and put out a video with the GCI trains.
