I purchased this vise at an auction for $45. Under the dirt and rust, it turned out it was in great shape. I got to forge the missing locking wedge.

It is an American made vise from Iron City out of Pittsburgh. Iron City made these vises from 1854 to the late 1950's. Based on what I see on this vise, I believe it to be an early model.
