"Sydney riff wizards Iron Blanket formed in 2020. Born out of the huge weed haze that was the first lockdown. Initially the five piece bonded over a love of seventies rock music. Drawing influence from the heavy licks of Black Sabbath and Pentagram, across to the psychedelic exploration of Hawkwind and Pink Floyd. But as the jams got heavier and the fuzz pedals got weirder... thick and dirty nineties inspired riffs started to appear.
'Evil Mind' evokes the swinging tempo and swagger of classic hard 70's rock...mixed with a beefy, fuzzy 90's wall of sound. The lyrics paints a picture of someone selling their soul to the devil and giving in to their darkest impulses of pleasure and hedonism
This distinctive and layered sound has quickly given Iron Blanket the reputation as one of Sydney's best stoner/psych bands."

Hey Friends,
Weve just released a BRAND NEW song called Balrog and have announced some additional tour dates. You can download it FOR FREE at kingbuffalo.bandcamp.com right now! It will be available on all the streaming platforms in the coming weeks.
Weve been hard at work on our studio and still have more to do. Even with things not quite complete we wanted to try tracking something to dial in the room.
What spawned is Balrog and we cant wait for you to hear it! We will be playing it and some other album tracks weve never played live on all our remaining tour dates.
These will be our last shows in the US for the time being as we are going to finish the studio and continue working on new ideas. See you at the upcoming shows!
