Irish Girl's first time reaction to U2 Where the Streets Have No Name. This is not my first time hearing this iconic U2 song- my brother was a big fan but I never sat down and listened to it before and it's my first time watching the legendary 1987 rooftop music video from The Joshua Tree.
Today I’m reacting to U2 - Where the Streets Have No Name for the first time. As an Irish girl, it was definitely time for me to properly experience one of the biggest songs from Ireland’s most famous rock band.
Where the Streets Have No Name is the opening track from U2’s 1987 album The Joshua Tree, performed by Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. The famous official music video features U2 performing on a rooftop in downtown Los Angeles as crowds gather in the streets below and police eventually shut down the shoot.
This U2 reaction, includes my reaction to Bono’s vocals, The Edge’s guitar sound, the build of the song, the rooftop performance and the music video itself.
