This video is for Emily (luvtheheaven5) for winning second place on mine and Laura (lbchatterbox)'s Family Ties Contest. Emily asked for a tribute to the Lance family (Sara, Laurel and Quentin) to this song and I am SO glad because I loved making this!! I already loved their relationships but I had never vidded them before and I didn't know most of their scenes so I loved going through them and picking out my favourites, this was hard to make especially cause it didn't turn out how I wanted and took me longer than I thought but I really hope you all like this, especially you Emily cause I know how much you love this family dynamic and I know you probably had an idea of how you wanted this to turn out so I hope I met your expectations!

Voiceovers:
Sara: Laurel Lance always trying to save the world.
Laurel: Runs in the family.

Quentin: I'm sorry baby but you're not her.
Laurel: Dad!

Sara: I know you have a lot of questions.
Laurel: Nope.
Sara: How can you not have any questions?

Laurel: When I saw you...so beautiful and so alive, I realised that I'm not those things.

Quentin: We had a trust and we had a bond and you broke it. And I don't know how you could do that to us.

Laurel: Before I passed out, I saw Sara.

Quentin: This is Laurel. You know the daughter that lived.

Laurel: Now get out.
Sara: I'm sorry.
Laurel: I said get out!

Quentin: Family dinner as a chance to reconcile.

Sara: I never forgot your voice dad.
Quentin: Sweetie.

Laurel: Please don't hate me Sara.

Quentin: You girls, you take care of each other.

Sara: Nice work counselor.

Laurel: After what happened between us last year, I swore that I would never keep secrets from you again.

Quentin: No, no, it can't be.
Sara: It's me.

Doctor: Your sister has extensive scare tissue over her entire body.

Laurel: Sara...

Laurel: What is so wrong with me that everybody leaves?

Laurel: Well thank you for that.
Quentin: I'm sorry was I embarrassing you?
Laurel: No, yourself.
Quentin: At least I know who I am.

Laurel: Sometimes it's people closest to us who lie to us best.

Sara: Why did I have to die?
Laurel: Sara...I am so sorry.

Sara: I'm sorry.
Quentin: Hey, none of that matters now, you know why? Cause you're home, sweetie, you're home.

Quentin: Hey you two turned out perfectly alright? And more importantly you're both home, I couldn't ask for anything more.

Sara: I just want you to be safe.
Laurel: And I love you for caring.

Laurel: What I was going to tell you is about Sara.
Quentin: Not my baby, not again.

Quentin: This isn't my daughter.
Laurel: Daddy it is.

Quentin: I just want to hear your voice. I know wherever you are, you're taking care of yourself but you know that doesn't mean I don't worry.

Quentin: I think you're a survivor and I think you're one of the bravest people I've ever known.

Sara: I just really missed you.

Laurel: I want you to bring my sister back to life.
Malcolm: No.
Laurel: You took her life away from her, it is your obligation to bring her back.

Sara: I owe you everything. You gave me the greatest gift that anyone ever could. You gave me a second chance.

Laurel: After you died I needed a channel for my grief.

Quentin: It's time we started facing things together.

Laurel: I found it in becoming the Black Canary. I found it in you.

Quentin: But your sister.
Sara: No, dad, no.
Quentin: I'm sorry baby.
Sara: Dad! No!

Quentin: Have you heard from Sara lately?
Laurel: No, why?

Sara: You knew that Laurel was gonna die. And now you're going to take me back and I'm gonna save my sister.

Laurel: I wish that there was a sign that it gets better.
Quentin: It does honey, it gets better.

Sara: Where's the mask?
Laurel: You don't need it anymore. You've lived in the shadows long enough.

Sara: I can't. I can't do this without my sister. I can't...
Rip: Yes you can.

Quentin: When we lost Sara, when I became a drunk, when no one else believed in me, she did. She's always been there, she's my rock. I can't do this.

Quentin: Well she'd be proud of you.
Sara: How do you know?
Quentin: Cause I am.
