Zadie (Character Walking Animation) Kimmy Art 2024-06-30 | I want to start creating animation tests with my characters, beginning with a simple walk cycle. This feels like a good way to start creating content again, especially since I'm still recovering after working on the TDAV from May 2023 to February 2024. Although I'm moving away from creating TD content, I still plan to make fan animations for the channel. I have many ideas and storyboards based on other media that I can't wait to share someday. Dance (HS Animation 2020) Kimmy Art 2020-12-17 | This is my third year and also my final year in the Animation class in high school. This is my semester exam for the class. This assignment is to do a 60fps animation of your character dancing. The colors and music were optional. And the animation has to be in 720x540.I had one of my characters, Zadie, doing two dance moves from the 90s and one from the early 2010s. Original, the song I picked was a Timbaland song. And the animation was gonna be 32 seconds. Heck, there was gonna another character dancing along with Zadie and there was gonna be some fire effects. But because this was an animation I had to make in one month and it would literally impossible to make the animation long, and not to mention my semester exam for the class, I ended up cutting off some of the animation scenes to make it short and ended up changing the song to an Usher song.This animation video is the "alternative" version. Kind of. The animation I ended up submitting to my teacher is the character in a white background with no effects or camera movements. I did not submit this one. I didn't want to "show-off my talent". And I don't want to. But I did have fun making this even though it was exhausting to work on. I did like how I used lighting and camera movement effects. In fact, this is the first time doing so and I think to say that I did pretty good on it. I used a lot of the overlay effect so much. You'll see it in the animation process when it's uploaded. The only con I had an issue animating is the lip-sync. It's a bit choppy, but I was running out of time to perfecting it. I only had a day to finish the animation. Like the lineart, the colors, and the effects. But I think everything else is fine. It was a bit weird to have my character in a disco party in modern times, but hey, I didn't want her dancing in a forest or in a field. Lol. I wanted to do this month to show my character's sexuality. I should say Derwin (the last character holding the gay flag) isn't really gay. He's straight ally. But I wanted him to holding the gay flag, just to show his love and support to the LGBTQ community. Also, do you guys notice something? How the quality of the video is when comparing to my other videos? That's because I used Adobe Premiere Pro. It's not the first time I used the program. I actually used it for the first time on the MAP I'm hosting. I want to point this out but I don't know how long I'm going to have the program. Because I didn't bought the program. I only have it for free, but it's because I used my school email and...well...I can't say the rest. I don't want to get in trouble from my school. I think I only have this for a year. Once my school email expires, I can't have access to the program. I really don't know.
