At semiannual meetings of the American Astronomical Society, there are four types of contributed presentations: oral, poster, iPoster, and -- new for AAS 234 in St. Louis in June 2019 -- iPoster-Plus.
This video explains the benefits of iPoster presentations and describes how iPoster sessions work.
Summary:
* Available before, during & after the conference
* Display on iPoster touchscreen terminals in Exhibit Hall
* Display on laptops or tablets
* Assigned a "focus day" where author is required to present at iPoster terminal during morning and afternoon breaks
All AAS members may contribute presentations at our meetings. Rules, guidelines, and deadlines governing the submission of abstracts are published on the AAS website a few months before each meeting.
