Many people enjoy playing content from their iPhone in their vehicle and have a stereo system which allows the playback of iOS devices via USB. Previous devices such as the iPhone 4/4s, 3GS, etc have worked perfectly, allowing for music playback, music streaming from apps like Pandora, and maps navigation audio to be played through your cars sound system. However, with the iPhone 5, they changed the conector requiring a new type of cable to be used with less pins. Until now, there has been no confirmation if this new style plug is compatible with older head units such as this Sony CDX-GT700HD.
