THIS IS HUGE!! The **iPhone 18 Pro Max** is almost here, and with Apple's September 9th event now OFFICIAL, we have an incredible picture of almost EVERYTHING coming to Apple's next flagship iPhone!!
Starting with performance, the iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to feature Apple's brand-new **A20 Pro**, the first iPhone chip manufactured using an advanced **2nm process**. This should deliver major improvements to performance, efficiency, Apple Intelligence and battery life.
And that battery could be MASSIVE!! Regulatory leaks point towards a **5,567mAh battery** in the US version of the iPhone 18 Pro Max, up from 5,088mAh in the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Combined with the efficiency improvements from A20 Pro and Apple's new C2 modem, this could give us the BEST battery life EVER in an iPhone.
The display is expected to remain at a huge **6.9 inches**, but Apple could upgrade to more efficient LTPO+ technology. We're also expecting a SMALLER Dynamic Island, although reports still disagree on exactly how much smaller Apple will make it.
Then we have the CAMERAS!! The iPhone 18 Pro Max could become the first iPhone EVER to feature a **variable-aperture Main camera**, giving Apple much greater control over light and depth of field. Even more excitingly, one recent leak suggests this upgrade could be EXCLUSIVE to the Pro Max!
Apple is also expected to improve the Telephoto camera, introduce a more seamless rear Ceramic Shield design, simplify Camera Control and give us a stunning new **Dark Cherry** colour alongside Light Blue, Dark Gray and Silver.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max could become slightly thicker and heavier too, potentially reaching around **243 grams**, but that extra size appears to be helping Apple squeeze in that enormous battery and upgraded camera hardware.
And finally, there is the **PRICE**. Multiple analysts are now expecting Apple to increase iPhone 18 Pro pricing because of rising component costs. Current estimates suggest the Pro Max could start around **$1,399**, with some predictions going as high as **$1,499**. Apple has NOT confirmed pricing yet, so we'll have to wait until September 9th to know for certain.
So with the **A20 Pro**, massive battery, variable-aperture camera, smaller Dynamic Island, C2 modem, new colours and potentially the BEST battery life we've ever seen, is the iPhone 18 Pro Max shaping up to be the ULTIMATE traditional iPhone?
