I went hands-on with Apple’s new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max following the fall Apple event, and in this video I’m taking a closer look at everything that’s new and what actually stood out during my time with the phones.
The iPhone 18 Pro lineup keeps the familiar 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch designs but introduces new Black, Silver, Glacier, and Burgundy finishes, a smaller Dynamic Island, the new 2nm A20 Pro chip, improved battery life and faster charging. The biggest changes come to the camera system, including a new 48MP main camera with variable aperture, manual Pro Controls, texture and grain options for Photographic Styles, and Apple Reference Image.
I also rank all four new iPhone 18 Pro colors, take a look at the new camera features, talk about the increased weight, test the variable aperture, and break down Apple's significant price increases across the lineup.
