The iPhone 17 Pro has been my daily driver for almost a full year, so this is my long-term review after months of real-world use. Iโve dropped it, used it completely caseless, taken it on vacation, pushed the cameras, tested battery life and lived with the aluminum design for almost a year.
In this video, I cover how the iPhone 17 Pro has held up, including durability, battery life, Ceramic Shield 2, A19 Pro performance, thermals, display brightness, cameras, the 8x telephoto, and whether I still think the standard Pro is the sweet spot over the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
I also talk about the recent heat and performance issues Iโve noticed while running the iOS 27 beta and whether they are actually a sign of the phone aging.
