Apple released the iPhone 16 Pro almost one year ago. It was "built from the ground up for Apple Intelligence" but if you bought it for that, you're likely disappointed. However, the phone itself, unreleased software aside, is arguably the best Pro phone Apple has ever made. And it's really not close.
