Until we do, extension cords are often found on our workshop floors, creating a tripping hazard and being a general nuisance. Many products are on the market to help us mitigate the hassle of extension cords or power cord management. Products like retractable extension cords but these aren't an option for me. In this video, I build an overhead extension cord feed system on a very tight budget. Cheap and easy.
NOTE! I sourced material locally. The items added to my Amazon storefront are the closest alternatives I could find but might not exactly match the items I used.

In this video, I build a toddler/kiddies bed for my 2-year-old son. The bed needed to be low enough for him to get in and out himself. It also required rails so he wouldn't roll off the bed while sleeping. Finally, I also wanted to add some storage under the bed for toys or clothes.
For this project, I drew inspiration from Casual DIY's version of a toddler bed. Though different, his was the starting point for my design. youtube.com/watch?v=_iSmwASTimI&t=393s

Please, stay safe and work smart.Automatic Vertical Edge Clamp - How ToWoodshop Junkies2021-11-01 | I came up with the idea for my version of an Auto Actuated Edge Clamp while applying edging to chipboard panels.
The Edge Clamp works beautifully with a variety of different sizes, widths, and weight boards.
It will be particularly handy when fixing hinges to doors or drilling pocket holes on the edges of large planks and boards.
Time will tell but it already seems to be a good addition to my workshop.

In my opinion, most conventional designs are flawed because the mechanism that allows the table to be collapsable is also responsible for carrying a fair amount of load when used as a table.
For my first prototype, I attempt to remove the load from the folding mechanisms to allow me to make a much stronger portable table that could even be used as a portable workbench.
