Iowa Speedway's President Eric Peterson shared optimism over Iowa Speedway's sold out 2026 race weekend and looking ahead to hosting the NASCAR Cup Series on July 4th, 2027.

Iowa Speedway will also undergo a full repave between now and Independence Day next year, which Peterson calls NASCAR investing into the short track.
