iOS 27 Beta 5 is here, and Apple packed this update with several visual changes, new customization options, and under-the-hood improvements. In this video, I cover everything new, including redesigned icons for Siri, Preview, Safari, Settings, Compass, and Apple TV Remote, plus new splash screens for Shortcuts, Apple TV, and Calendar.
We’ll also look at the new “Before Searching” section in Spotlight settings, the ability to control how many suggested apps appear, updated voice-customization sliders for British Siri voices, the new Siri icon inside the Apple Watch app, and the removal of the 5G emblem from Control Center. Keep in mind that your iPhone may need to reindex after updating, so Spotlight results and suggestions could be temporarily incomplete.
