iOS 26.5 RC2 is Out! - What's New? - iOS 26.52 RC released and iOS 26.5 Release Candidate 2 is out for everyone who is a developer or beta tester. iOS 26.5 GM2 or iOS 26.5 RC 2 is the same thing and should be the same as the public release if there are no addition updates with iOS 26.5 RC3. iOS 26.5 brings the fifth major feature updates to iOS 26. iOS 26.5 should help with performance, battery life, and introduces End to End Encryption for RCS Messaging, a new Wallpaper, reminders updates and more. iOS 26.5 is not just focused on iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, but also has updates for all iPhones as well.
