Notwithstanding the dubious assertion of this being an HD video converter and unlike those EZ-Cap devices whose build quality and performance is as variegated as the brand names by which they are sold, the ION Video2PC's performance was commendable.
Too bad it sells itself as something it isn't; there's no way you'll achieve HD quality video from an SD source, even with all smoke and mirrors surrounding ION's preposterous expectation that the upscaling, sharpening, and brightness and contrast adjustments available in the bundled video editor.
I'm not too sure of the culprit behind the jagged edges (inherent in videos not correctly deinterlaced) as was evident during the AOL dial-up commercial. The way you see it in this video was as I saw it on my television.
